Auditions

Auditions are open to the public and members of the community are encouraged to attend. Check out the Auditions List on a regular basis - dates and times can change - so you'll want to stay up to date and current! Break a leg!

Playhouse Workshops

Playhouse Workshops are designed to provide LCP members new and old with an opportunity to meet other members and work on scene studies, cold reads and improvisation. For some, Playhouse is a means to improve auditioning and performing skills. For others, it's an opportunity to meet new people in a casual, relaxed atmosphere and have some fun without "performance anxiety." If you have an audition coming up and you want to work on a monologue for it, please join us and we'll work on it together!

Playhouse often enters one-act play festivals each year, hoping to get as many people involved as possible. Only "Playhouse People" are allowed to audition for these productions, but you only need to attend once to be considered a "Playhouse Person." "Playhouse People" have been nominated and won in every category over the years: outstanding male and female actors, male and female supporting, direction, writing, production, and technical.
